Sushma Kadiyala

Dr. Sushma Kadiyala is actively engaged in advancing the field of endocrinology as an Associate Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Florida. With a strong commitment to education, she also serves as the director of the UF Adult Endocrinology fellowship program, where she mentors the next generation of endocrinologists. Dr. Kadiyala is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, reflecting her extensive expertise and dedication to patient care. Her clinical interests are centered around thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, diabetes, and a broad spectrum of other endocrinopathies. She is particularly passionate about improving patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans and innovative therapeutic approaches. Her academic journey began at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, where she earned her medical degree. Following this, Dr. Kadiyala completed her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Florida, gaining invaluable experience and honing her skills in these specialties. In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Dr. Kadiyala is actively involved in research, focusing on thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and diabetes.
