Mohammad Ilyas

Renowned for innovative contributions in the field of pediatric nephrology, Dr. Mohammad Ilyas serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine – Jacksonville, University of Florida. With a board certification in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology, Dr. Ilyas has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding and treatment of kidney diseases in children, particularly focusing on glomerulonephritis. Dr. Ilyas's academic journey began at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, where he earned his medical degree in 1989. His pursuit of excellence led him to the United States, where he completed his pediatrics residency at Brooklyn Hospital Centers in Brooklyn, New York, in 1997.
