Her educational journey began at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, where she earned her Doctorate and PhD degrees in Pediatrics, alongside a Master’s in Neuropsychiatry. Dr. Shakankiry further honed her expertise through fellowships in Pediatric Neurology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, and in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at the University of Rochester in New York.
