Orit Shechtman

Developing insights into the future of occupational therapy, Dr. Orit Shechtman serves as an Emeritus Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Florida. With a profound commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, she chairs the DEI Task Force, where she leads initiatives to create a more inclusive academic environment. Dr. Shechtman's research interests are centered around driving assessment, musculoskeletal disorders, and the development of innovative assessment tools.
