Professor Samit Joshi is involved in groundbreaking research on infectious diseases and immunology at the Yale School of Medicine. As an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine, Dr. Joshi is dedicated to advancing our understanding of microbial diseases and their impact on human health. His work is pivotal in exploring the complex interactions between pathogens and the immune system, aiming to develop innovative strategies for prevention and treatment. Dr. Joshi holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH), both of which have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the medical and public health aspects of infectious diseases. His postdoctoral research and clinical training at Yale have further honed his expertise, allowing him to contribute significantly to the field through both his research and teaching roles.
