Henry H. Takei brings a wealth of experience in the field of periodontics as a Distinguished Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. With a career that spans several decades, he has made significant contributions to both academic and clinical settings. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including periodontal plastic surgery, regenerative therapy, anatomy and histology, and non-surgical periodontal therapy. In addition to his role at UCLA, Professor Takei serves as a Consultant in Periodontics at the Veterans Hospital in Los Angeles, where he applies his extensive knowledge to improve patient care. His commitment to education extends internationally as a Visiting Professor at Meikai University in Japan, where he shares his insights and fosters cross-cultural academic exchange.
