Blending theory and practice to improve public health outcomes, Dr. Anita Raj is a distinguished scholar with professorships at both Tulane University and the University of California-San Diego. At Tulane, she serves as a Professor of Public Health and the Executive Director of the Newcomb Institute, where she dedicates her efforts to understanding and addressing social and cultural vulnerabilities in health, with a particular focus on women and children.
