Ioan Bejenaru

An active participant in shaping policies on mathematical education and research, Ioan Bejenaru is a distinguished Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, San Diego. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2004, where he developed a strong foundation in Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations and Harmonic Analysis. His academic journey has seen him contribute to the mathematical community through various esteemed institutions, including UCLA, Texas A&M, and the University of Chicago, before he joined UCSD in 2012. Professor Bejenaru's research primarily revolves around systems of dispersive equations and nonlinear Schrödinger equations, areas in which he has published extensively.
