Dr. Antonio Idini has contributed extensively to the field of Italian studies and language pedagogy as an Associate Professor of Italian at the University of Southern California's Dornsife College. With a diverse array of research interests, Dr. Idini delves into second and foreign language pedagogy, Italian literature, Native American literature, detective fiction, contemporary cinema, and poetry. His scholarly work reflects a deep commitment to exploring the intersections of culture, language, and literature. Dr. Idini's academic journey is marked by a rich tapestry of interdisciplinary studies. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Literatures from the Università degli Studi di Sassari in Italy, which laid the foundation for his passion for languages and cultural studies. Furthering his expertise, he pursued a Master of Arts in American Indian Studies and a Ph.D. in Comparative Cultural and Literary Studies, both from the University of Arizona.
