

Mariam Davtyan
Dr. Mariam Davtyan champions interdisciplinary research on resilience factors, HIV, and health-associated stigma. As an Assistant Professor of Research Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her field. Dr. Davtyan earned her PhD in Public Health from the University of California, Irvine, where she developed a keen interest in the complex interplay between health and societal factors. Her research primarily focuses on the effects of in utero exposure to HIV and antiretroviral medications among children and young adults. Dr. Davtyan is deeply invested in understanding HIV-associated stigma and discrimination within healthcare settings, aiming to improve the quality of care and support for affected individuals. Her work also explores resilience factors in women of color living with HIV, seeking to empower this community through evidence-based interventions.
