Anita Skeen

Professor Anita Skeen is a distinguished author and professor emerita who has significantly contributed to global discussions on literature and the arts. With a career spanning several decades, she has left an indelible mark on the academic and literary communities. At Michigan State University, she served in the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH), where her passion for teaching and the arts flourished. Before her tenure at MSU, Professor Skeen honed her teaching skills at Bowling Green State University and Wichita State University. Her journey at MSU began in 1990, and she quickly became a pivotal figure in the university's academic landscape. In 1997, she took on the role of director for the Residential Option in Arts and Letters Program, where she fostered an environment of creativity and intellectual growth.
