(Hons.) degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, India, followed by M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University. Professor Ross's research interests are diverse and impactful, encompassing biometrics, image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision. His work is particularly focused on privacy-preserving schemes for biometric data and camera sensor identification for biometric images, areas that are crucial in today's data-driven world. His contributions to these fields have been recognized globally, establishing him as a thought leader in the integration of AI and machine learning with biometric systems. Before joining Michigan State University in 2013, Professor Ross was a valued faculty member at West Virginia University from 2003 to 2012.
