

Jeramia Ory
Professor Jeramia Ory is a distinguished academic with a robust background in biochemistry and molecular biophysics. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota, where he developed a strong foundation in the biochemical sciences. Following his doctoral studies, Professor Ory pursued postdoctoral research at the Washington University School of Medicine, further honing his expertise in the field. His career trajectory took him to the RCSB Protein Data Bank, where he contributed to the advancement of structural biology and data management. This experience enriched his understanding of protein structures and their implications in biological processes. Professor Ory's academic journey then led him to King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where he served as an Assistant Professor of Biology, sharing his knowledge and passion for biochemistry with students. In 2015, Professor Ory returned to St. Louis, assuming the role of Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. During his tenure, he was instrumental in developing innovative curricula and fostering a collaborative research environment. His commitment to education and research excellence was evident in his contributions to the academic community. In 2022, Professor Ory embraced a new challenge as a DEI Education Specialist with the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
