Professor contributing to breakthroughs in cancer biology, Marianna Ruzinova, MD, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. With a robust background in pathology, Dr. Ruzinova is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as hematopathology. Her academic journey began at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she earned her medical degree, followed by a PhD from the Weill Cornell School of Medical Sciences. Dr. Ruzinova's clinical expertise spans a range of areas including hematologic disorders, autopsy, gastrointestinal and pancreatic pathology, hematopathology, and liver pathology.
