Pioneering innovative approaches to legal education, John Hazlett serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of North Carolina School of Law. With a distinguished academic background, he earned his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he now imparts his knowledge to aspiring legal professionals. Prior to his legal studies, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating cum laude from Wake Forest University, which laid a strong foundation for his career in law. Professor Hazlett is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment, particularly in the realm of corporate finance law. He is currently teaching Corporate Finance (Law 236) during the Spring 2022 and 2024 semesters, where he integrates real-world applications with theoretical frameworks to prepare students for the complexities of the legal aspects of financial transactions.
