Suja P. Davis

Suja P. Davis champions interdisciplinary research on the symptom management of adults with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and nursing education. As a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, having dedicated over a decade to nursing education and clinical practice. Her academic journey is marked by a PhD in Nursing, a Master's in Nursing, and a certificate in Nursing Informatics, which collectively underpin her expertise in both clinical and educational settings. Dr. Davis's research primarily focuses on managing symptoms in adults suffering from a range of GI disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, diverticulitis, and ostomies.
