Professor Grace Hubbard is an esteemed faculty member at the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, actively engaged in research related to child and adolescent psychiatric nursing. With over 30 years of experience as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Grace Hubbard earned her master's degree from the Medical College of Georgia and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Duke University. Since joining the School of Nursing in 2007, she has been a pivotal figure in the graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program and the DNP program. Her teaching is deeply informed by her extensive clinical background and her commitment to advancing psychiatric nursing education. Her professional interests are centered around program development and evaluation, with a particular focus on integrating simulation into graduate education.
