Tracy Vernon-Platt

Professor leading studies in cardiothoracic surgery and adult health, Tracy Vernon-Platt serves as the Lead Faculty in the AGPCNP Program and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With a robust academic background, she holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Duke University, along with both a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from UNC Chapel Hill. Her extensive clinical experience spans medical-surgical nursing, cardiothoracic intensive care, and practice as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
