Dr. Rick Silva is a distinguished figure in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as the Executive Director for Clinical, Translational, and Industry Collaborations in the Office of Research at Texas A&M University. In addition to his executive duties, Dr. Silva is an instructional assistant professor and the Director of the Texas A&M Clinicogenomics Core, contributing significantly to the university's research capabilities.
