Katy Byrne Hanik enhances global conversations on health, fitness, and dance through her role as an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Physical Education Activity Program at Texas A&M University. With a BFA in Ballet and an MFA in Dance, she brings a rich tapestry of experience and expertise to her teaching. Her courses are designed to inspire students in the realms of health, fitness, and dance, fostering a holistic approach to physical education. Ms. Hanik is deeply committed to inclusive fitness and wellness, ensuring that her teachings resonate with a diverse student body. Her passion for dance extends beyond the classroom as she serves as the faculty advisor for the Fade to Black Hip Hop Dance Ensemble, where she mentors students in exploring the dynamic world of hip hop dance.
