Professor Jeffery K. Tomberlin is a distinguished scholar with a deep interest in the field of entomology, serving as a Professor, AgriLife Research Fellow, and Presidential Impact Fellow at Texas A&M University. Since joining the university in 2002, Professor Tomberlin has made significant contributions to the scientific community, particularly in the areas of decomposition ecology, forensic entomology, and the innovative use of insects as food and feed. Throughout his illustrious career, Professor Tomberlin has been instrumental in advancing research on the black soldier fly, a species with promising applications in waste management and sustainable agriculture.
