Dr. Rebecca Fischer is pioneering research in the field of epidemiology, with a particular focus on tropical diseases and infectious disease surveillance. As an Assistant Professor in the Epidemiology & Biostatistics department at Texas A&M School of Public Health, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Dr. Fischer earned her PhD in Field Epidemiology and an MPH in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from The University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, equipping her with a robust foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of public health. Her research interests are deeply rooted in understanding the epidemiology of tropical diseases and conducting epidemic investigations. Dr. Fischer is committed to advancing global health by identifying and analyzing risk factors for infectious diseases, particularly in resource-limited settings.
