Zachary Alan (Zach) Weber

Zachary Alan (Zach) Weber is a distinguished Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmacy, Purdue University. With a robust background in pharmacy education and practice, he also serves as the Director of Interprofessional Education, where he spearheads initiatives to integrate collaborative practice models into the curriculum. Prof. Weber's academic journey began at Purdue University, where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in 2007. Following his graduation, he pursued a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, completing it in 2008. His commitment to advancing his expertise led him to a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Duke University Hospital, which he completed in 2009. Prof. Weber's research interests are deeply rooted in interprofessional education and practice, where he explores innovative strategies to enhance collaborative learning environments. His work in pedagogy focuses on contemporary and innovative teaching methods that aim to transform traditional educational paradigms. Additionally, he is passionate about expanding the roles of clinical pharmacists in ambulatory care settings, advocating for progressive practices that enhance patient outcomes. Throughout his career, Prof. Weber has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to teaching and research. His dedication to education has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Purdue University College of Pharmacy Dr. Aziz Outstanding Teacher of the Year award.
