Dr. Cheryl Mitteness brings unique insights into the field of entrepreneurship and innovation, drawing from her extensive academic background and industry experience. As an Associate Teaching Professor at Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business, she is dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment that encourages creativity and strategic thinking among her students. Dr. Mitteness earned her Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville, where she developed a deep understanding of the entrepreneurial process and its impact on business development. Her academic journey also includes an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Research and a BS in Real Estate from St. Cloud State University, equipping her with a robust foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of business. Before her tenure at Northeastern, Dr. Mitteness honed her skills in the industry as an underwriter for United Guaranty. This role allowed her to gain valuable insights into risk assessment and financial analysis, which she now integrates into her teaching methodology.
