Baohong Zhao

Exploring the impact of cellular processes on human health, Dr. Baohong Zhao is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Medical Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine. With a robust academic background, she earned her bachelor's degree in medicine from Peking University and a DMD degree from Showa University. Dr. Zhao further advanced her expertise by completing her Ph.D. in 2008, followed by postdoctoral training in immunology in 2014. Dr. Zhao's research is primarily focused on the intricate mechanisms of cell differentiation and the complex pathways of cell signaling and signal transduction. Her work aims to unravel the fundamental processes that govern cellular behavior and how these processes can be manipulated to improve health outcomes.
