

Harry C. Katz
Harry C. Katz is the Jack Sheinkman Professor of Collective Bargaining at Cornell University's School of Industrial & Labor Relations, where he also serves as the Director of the Scheinman Institute. With an illustrious academic career, Katz earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He joined Cornell in 1985 after a tenure at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in labor relations. During his time as Dean of the ILR School from 2005 to 2014, Katz played a pivotal role in expanding the resident faculty, diversifying the student body, and launching the Executive Master of Human Resource Studies program.
