

Paul Merrill
Promoting critical thinking in the realm of music, Paul Merrill is a distinguished trumpeter and Senior Lecturer at Cornell University's Music Department. With a robust educational background, he earned his Bachelor of Music from William Paterson University and a Master of Music from Ithaca College. As the Gussman Director of the Cornell University Jazz Program, Merrill has been instrumental in commissioning innovative works from celebrated composers such as Jim McNeely and Paul Smoker.
