Committed to mentoring the next generation in understanding the evolving landscape of media, Joaquin Serpe is a Visiting Assistant Professor in Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU Steinhardt. With a robust academic background, he earned his PhD in Film and Moving Image Studies and an MA in Film Studies from Concordia University, following a B.F.A. in Audiovisual Design from the University of Buenos Aires. Joaquin's research delves into the intricate dynamics of media pedagogy and the dissemination of political thought, particularly in the context of the transition from broadcast to digital media. His scholarly contributions have been featured in esteemed publications such as Streaming Video: Storytelling Across Borders and Culture Machine, reflecting his commitment to advancing the discourse on media culture and its societal implications.
