Professor James S. Butler is a distinguished scholar with significant achievements in the field of microbiology and immunology. He holds the title of Professor Emeritus at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he has made substantial contributions to the academic community. Professor Butler earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1984, laying a strong foundation for his future research endeavors.
