Rima Idzelis
An active participant in shaping policies on legal education and international law, Rima Idzelis serves as a Senior Lecturing Fellow and Director of the Legal Writing program for LLM students at Duke University School of Law. In her role, she imparts her extensive knowledge through courses such as U.S. Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing, and Advanced Legal Writing for International Students. Her commitment to fostering a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. legal system is further demonstrated by her leadership of the Summer Institute for Law, Language & Culture. Rima Idzelis's dedication to legal education extends beyond the classroom. She plays a crucial role in the admissions process, ensuring that the next generation of legal minds is well-prepared for the challenges ahead. Her career also includes a significant stint as a Staff Attorney for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Administrative Law Judges, where she contributed to the adjudication of environmental disputes and the development of administrative law. Idzelis's expertise is further enriched by her experience as a Consultant for the World Resources Institute, where she engaged with global environmental issues and policy development.
