Jeffrey Balzer
Dr. Jeffrey Balzer is pioneering research in the field of cerebral blood flow and neurophysiology at the Neurological Surgery University of Pittsburgh-Bradford. As an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Services at the Center for Clinical Neurophysiology and the Cerebral Blood Flow Laboratory, he has made significant contributions to the understanding and advancement of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and cerebral blood flow dynamics. With a specialized focus on subarachnoid hemorrhage and spinal cord stimulation (SCS) for the restoration of function after stroke, Dr. Balzer has established himself as a leading expert in his field. His extensive research has led to the publication of over 130 refereed articles and 19 book chapters, reflecting his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
