Julian Yamaura

Professor Julian Yamaura is dedicated to fostering understanding of the intricate dynamics within the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering. As an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Washington, he brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to his students, particularly in the areas of construction materials, the design and construction of temporary structures, and the methodologies employed in infrastructure construction. His teaching is deeply informed by his extensive industry experience, having previously served as an engineering consultant at Pavia Systems, Inc., and as a construction engineer at Atkinson Construction. Professor Yamaura's research is at the forefront of integrating mobile technology systems within the construction industry.
