Joasia Luzak
Bringing clarity to complex systems in consumer and contract law, Dr. Joasia Luzak is a distinguished faculty member at the School of Law, Georgetown University. With a profound dedication to the intricacies of European law, she has established herself as a leading scholar in her field. Dr. Luzak earned her Ph.D. in Law from the University of Amsterdam, where she honed her expertise in European consumer and contract law. Before joining Georgetown University, Dr. Luzak served as an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Exeter. Her academic journey also includes a tenure as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Private Law A at the University of Amsterdam. Her international experience is further enriched by her roles as a Visiting Professor at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London and the University of Houston Law Center. Dr. Luzak's research interests lie at the intersection of consumer law, contract law, and European law. Her work is characterized by a commitment to advancing the understanding and application of these legal frameworks.
