Claire Standley
Professor specializing in global health security and public health systems, Claire Standley is an Associate Research Professor at Georgetown University's Center for Global Health Science and Security. Her primary faculty affiliation is with the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in the School of Medicine. With a robust background in health systems strengthening and international capacity building, Dr. Standley is recognized for her expertise in malaria policy, global health security, and the One Health approach. Dr. Standley's academic journey began with a B.A. in Natural Sciences, followed by an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Management, and culminated in a Ph.D. in Genetics. Her interdisciplinary education has equipped her with a unique perspective on the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health, which is central to her research and advocacy efforts.
