Chao Huang takes a creative approach to solving problems in the fields of statistics and biomedical sciences. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and a Courtesy Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Florida State University, he is dedicated to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation in these disciplines. His academic journey is marked by a strong foundation in both biostatistics and applied mathematics, having earned his Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019 and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Southeast University in China in 2014. Dr. Huang's educational background is further enriched by his B.S. in Applied Mathematics, which he obtained from Southeast University in 2008. This diverse and robust academic training equips him with a unique perspective and skill set, allowing him to tackle complex statistical challenges with precision and creativity. His dual expertise in biostatistics and applied mathematics positions him at the intersection of these fields, where he contributes to the development of innovative methodologies and solutions.
