

Chang Samuel Hsu
Professor Chang Samuel Hsu is renowned for his significant contributions to the fields of petroleum chemistry and hydrocarbon science and technology. As an Adjunct Professor in the Chemical & Biomedical Engineering department at FAMU-FSU, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students and colleagues. Professor Hsu completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Chung-Yuan Christian University in 1966, followed by a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Kentucky in 1974. With a distinguished career spanning several decades, Professor Hsu has focused his research on a diverse range of topics including petroleum chemistry, exploration and processing, and analytical chemistry. His work in environmental monitoring and controls has been pivotal in advancing sustainable practices within the industry.
