Kylie Jiwon Hwang

Professor Kylie Jiwon Hwang is an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Her research is centered on addressing systemic inequality within the labor market, particularly focusing on recidivism, labor market discrimination, and the challenges faced by justice-impacted individuals. Through her work, she aims to uncover pathways to enhance economic and social mobility for marginalized groups, thereby fostering a more equitable society. Professor Hwang's scholarly contributions have been recognized in several prestigious academic journals, and her insights have been featured in various popular media outlets, amplifying the impact of her research beyond academia.
