Jeanette Snider

A lifelong learner contributing to the academic and social discourse on race and equity, Dr. Jeanette Snider serves as an Assistant Research Professor with the Social Justice Alliance and Anti-Black Racism Initiative at the University of Maryland. Her commitment to fostering inclusive environments extends to her role as an Adjunct Professor at the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Dr. Snider's research is deeply rooted in exploring the complexities of Multiracial and Biracial student experiences, mentoring relationships, and broader issues of social justice and equity. Dr. Snider's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the College of William and Mary, where she developed a foundational understanding of political structures and their impact on societal dynamics. She further honed her expertise with a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Maryland College Park, followed by a PhD in the same field from the same institution.
