John Baldwin

Dr. John Baldwin is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the fields of mathematics, with a particular focus on symplectic geometry, contact geometry, knot theory, and gauge theory. As a Professor in the Math Department at McAnulty College of Arts and Sciences, Boston College, he brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for teaching and research to the academic community. Dr. Baldwin earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University, where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of complex mathematical concepts. Prior to that, he completed his A.B. at Harvard University, laying a strong foundation for his future academic pursuits. His research has contributed significantly to the understanding of geometric structures and their applications, and he continues to explore new dimensions in these areas.
