Dr. Gav Orman is actively engaged in advancing the field of environmental resource management as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Arizona State University's Polytechnic School. With a keen focus on environmental policy, pollution prevention, and waste management, Dr. Orman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the academic community. Their research interests also encompass contaminated site remediation and experiential learning, aiming to equip students with practical skills for career readiness in the environmental sector. Before joining ASU, Dr. Orman gained valuable experience working with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, where they contributed to significant projects in environmental protection and sustainability. Dr. Orman holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
