Aparna Rao

Aparna Rao brings a wealth of experience in audiology and aural rehabilitation to her role as a clinical professor in the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. With a PhD in Audiology from Purdue University, Dr. Rao has dedicated her career to advancing the understanding and treatment of hearing loss. Her research focuses on the diagnosis and characterization of hearing loss, as well as the development of comprehensive aural rehabilitation strategies that address the diverse needs of individuals with hearing impairments. In her academic role, Dr. Rao teaches courses in physiological measures and basic audiology, providing students with a solid foundation in the principles and practices of audiology.
