She earned her PhD in Environmental Management from the prestigious National Institute of Industrial Engineering in Mumbai, India. Before her tenure at SDSU, Dr. Abba served as an Associate Professor in the School of Sustainability and as the Associate Dean of International Relations at XIM University in Odisha, India.
