Nydia Blas

Dr. Nydia Blas is a recognized authority in the exploration of themes surrounding sexuality, intimacy, and identity, particularly through the lens of Black femininity. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Visual Culture at Spelman College, she brings a unique perspective and depth to her teaching and creative endeavors. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College, followed by a Master of Fine Arts from Syracuse University, where she honed her skills and developed her distinctive artistic voice.
