

Paul Moeller
Recognized for advancing sustainable solutions for digital asset management, Paul Moeller is an Associate Professor and the Director of Metadata Operations, Digital Asset Management & Discovery Services Team at the University Libraries of the University of Colorado Boulder. With a career spanning over two decades at the university, Moeller has been instrumental in shaping the library's approach to metadata and digital resource management since he joined in 2001. Moeller's academic journey began at the University of Iowa, where he earned both his Master of Arts and Master of Library Science degrees. His expertise in metadata operations has been pivotal in enhancing the accessibility and discoverability of digital resources, ensuring that the university's vast collections are efficiently managed and easily accessible to students, faculty, and researchers. Currently, Moeller is on sabbatical until April 30, 2024, a period he is likely using to further his research and explore new methodologies in digital asset management. His contributions to the field have not only benefited the University of Colorado Boulder but have also set a benchmark for library systems worldwide.
