

Lisa Frohmann
Dr. Lisa Frohmann is an esteemed Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology, Law, and Justice at the University of Illinois Chicago. With a PhD in Sociology, she is also a faculty affiliate in the Departments of Sociology and Gender and Women's Studies. Her scholarly pursuits are deeply rooted in the exploration of gender-based violence and the state's responses to such violence, with a particular focus on marginalized communities. Dr. Frohmann employs innovative methodologies, such as participant photography, to delve into the lived experiences of violence among individuals from diverse backgrounds.
