Jon Davis applies creative solutions to the field of agricultural education with a wealth of experience and dedication. As an Assistant Teaching Professor in Agricultural Education and Studies at Iowa State University, he brings over three decades of practical experience to his role. Before joining the university faculty, Jon spent 31 years as a high school Agricultural Education Instructor and FFA advisor, where he developed a passion for mentoring young minds and fostering a love for agriculture. In his current position, Jon is deeply involved in shaping the future of agricultural education. His responsibilities include advising students, serving on the agricultural education teacher certification committee, and supervising student teachers. His commitment to education is evident in the courses he teaches, such as Agricultural Mechanics Application and Methods of Teaching Agricultural, where he integrates hands-on learning with theoretical knowledge to prepare students for real-world challenges. Jon's academic journey is rooted in Iowa State University, where he earned both his B.S. in Agricultural Education in 1990 and his M.S. in Agricultural Education in 2000.
