Professor advancing research in the field of educational science, Jelena Kraft serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology at Iowa State University. With a robust academic foundation, she earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and a B.S. in Chemistry from Iowa State University, equipping her with a deep understanding of the scientific principles that underpin her teaching and research endeavors. Dr. Kraft's research is centered on enhancing the educational experience in science through innovative instructional practices. She is dedicated to exploring how different teaching methods and course materials can significantly influence student learning and engagement.
