Wade Aldous

Pioneering solutions for emerging issues in infectious diseases and public health, Dr. Wade Aldous serves as the CLIA Director of the State Hygienic Laboratory at the University of Iowa. He also holds an adjunct Associate Professorship in the Department of Epidemiology at the College of Public Health. With a profound expertise in clinical microbiology and infectious disease epidemiology, Dr. Aldous's research interests are deeply rooted in infection control, epidemiology, clinical microbiology, and the study of multidrug-resistant organisms. Dr. Aldous has made significant contributions to the field, authoring nearly 40 published articles and contributing to five book chapters.
