

Steven Mickelsen
Steven Mickelsen is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Iowa. With a robust educational background, he earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico. Following this, he completed his residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where he honed his skills in internal medicine. His passion for cardiology led him to pursue further fellowship training in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Professor Mickelsen's research interests are notably centered around the Iowa Approach, Inc., a field in which he has made significant contributions through numerous published studies.
