Joseph Mogelesky

Professor with a focus on graphic design and web development, Joseph Mogelesky serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Graphic Design program at Drexel University's Westphal College. An alumnus of the program, Joe returned to Drexel in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience as a Front-End Developer and Designer. His teaching philosophy centers on bridging the gap between design and development, empowering students to create web spaces that are both accessible and visually compelling. In addition to his academic role, Joe is actively involved in the professional sphere, working with RHB to support the creation of portal experiences for universities nationwide. This role allows him to stay at the forefront of technological advancements and design trends, which he seamlessly integrates into his curriculum to provide students with a contemporary and practical education. Joe's career is marked by diverse experiences, including agency work at Bounteous, where he honed his skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. He has also held in-house design and development positions at Hotels at Home and CSL Behring, where he contributed to innovative projects that enhanced user experiences and brand engagement. Through his multifaceted career, Joe has developed a unique perspective that combines technical expertise with creative vision. This blend of skills not only enriches his teaching but also inspires his students to push the boundaries of traditional design and embrace the dynamic nature of digital media.
